Student Fee Protection
In accordance with CRICOS regulations the SCSC is a member of ACPETS Overseas Student Tuition Assurance Scheme (OSTAS).
The main objective of a Tuition Assurance Scheme (TAS) is to ensure that overseas students receive the course that they have paid for (Section 5 ESOS Act 2000). TAS is the first line to call when a provider is unable to provide a course or a refund to its overseas students. TAS members must contribute to the assurance fund which provides back if the College is unable to provide suitable alternative courses/refunds to the students.
