Our Accreditations
The Sydney College of Skin Care is a Government Registered Training Organisation (RTO), registered by VETAB. All qualifications taught at the College are nationally recognised giving you more flexibility when looking at further studies. Both the Diploma of Beauty Therapy and the Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy are taught from the Beauty Training Package ensuring you are taught to the latest Australian standards.
The Sydney College of Skin Care delivers the following Nationally Recognised courses:
- WRB50105 Diploma of Beauty Therapy
- WRB40105 Certificate IV in Beauty Therapy
- WRB30104 Certificate III in Beauty Therapy
VETAB - Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board
The Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) has three main functions.
These are:
- To register and monitor training organisations based in NSW.
- To accredit VET level courses in accordance with national standards.
- To approve training organisations' delivery of VET to overseas students in NSW.

ACPET - Australian Council for Private Education and Training
The Sydney College of Skin Care maintains membership with ACPET. ACPET is the peak national industry association for independent providers of post-compulsory education and training, for Australian and international students. APAA - Association of Professional Aestheticians of Australia
The APAA was formed in October 1957 and today is recognised for its commitment to education and raising the standards within its membership so that the public can be assured they are in the hands of competent professionals. The APAA is regarded as the peak industry Association for Beauty Therapists in Australia. its mission is to "establish and promote the integrity of the professional Beauty Therapist, by initiating programs to maintain and progressively raise the standards of our industry to world class throught the active participation of its members."

CIDESCO - Comite International d'Esthetique et de Cosmetologie
CIDESCO (Comite International d'Esthetique et de Cosmetologie) was founded in 1946 to give Aestheticians around the world the opportunity to exchange experiences with their colleges in other countries. It maintains its head office in Zurich, Switzerland and is currently represented in over 34 countries.
the CIDESCO Diploma is regarded as the world's most prestigious qualification in the field of Aesthetics and Beauty Therapy. Since 1957, the CIDESCO qualification has set standards that have been imitated over the five continents of the globe.
